UNITY (1918)
A Gothic romance that embraces love at the edge of death.
The year is 1918, and the Great War is finally over, but a mysterious and deadly plague – the “Spanish Flu” – has arrived in Canada and the citizens of Unity, Saskatchewan, are fighting for their lives.
This Governor General’s Award-winning play tells the story of a small farming community quarantined in an attempt to keep the illness out.
